Burial / Holy Mountain Tap Takeover

Join us as we welcome Burial Beer Co. from Asheville, NC, along with Holy Mountain Brewing for an epic tap takeover.

On Tap:
Burial Beer Co.
1. Surf Wax IPA - 6.8% ABV
If you want the ultimate, you've got to be willing to pay the ultimate price. But are you crazy enough? Show those guys that are inching their way on the freeways in their metal coffins that the human sprit is still alive. Mosaic. Citra. Centennial. Columbus. Lots of barley. Touch of wheat. The sea swallows the Sun. And who knows if it rises again. Vaya con dios

2. Savages of Ruminating Minds IPA - 7.2% ABV
A path to atonement for past transgressions. This is the expression of Savages that we all know and love. All tethered fears eventually become mortal monsters of the mind’s regret. And they perish when the fuel runs dry. Double Dry-Hopped with copious Mosaic, Motueka and Idaho 7 hops.

3. Beyond the Rift Triple IPA – 10% ABV
Behind the seam of the everlasting unknown, there is born unrelenting imagination. Triple dry-hopped with more than 6# per barrel of hops, led by Mosaic and Cashmere, with support from Idaho 7, Eldorado, Nelson Sauvin and Enigma.

4. Glory is  GoldenBock – 6% ABV
Glory is a destination for those who follow the gospel. It gives a hearkened voice to the apostles of beverage, those who remind us that taste is an amalgamation of tradition and revival. So we got together with our friends down on the river at Zilicoah Beer Co., to forge an often drinkable, yet full-flavored lager. Inspired by the Hellesbock-styled golden lagers of Germany, we decided to tip a hat to the regional American brewers that breathed new life into those styles in the new world. Glory Is was made from German barley, noble hops, and forged through a full decoction before lagering to crystalline perfection. Fully aged. Never Sacrificed

5. Wildly Erratic Conspiracies of Nonesuch Imperial Stout – 15% ABV
These are musings without equal. They gravitate into an oblivion. For there are no portals to virtue, marred by the indecency of mundane minds. A second go at this impeccable stout base. We took a key from one of our favorite holiday treats, by aging a coconut rich stout with select French Broad Chocolate nibs, Bourbon vanilla beans and a pile of organic, unsweetened peppermint candy canes. The rich peppermint oils help concoct a perpetual inundation of molten Andes mints, crunchy peppermint bark, and chocolate macaroons.

6. Houtenhamer Double Barrel-Aged Imperial Stout – 10% ABV
An Imperial Stout brewed with Lactose and molasses sugar 85% of Houtenhamer was Brandy barrel-aged for six months and then Bourbon barrel-aged for an additional six months. After aging in the barrels for a total of a year this imperial stout was then blended with 15% young steel-aged stout.

  7. The River to Hell Runs Red Dark Sour Ale – 7.5% ABV
The River to Hell Runs Red Oud Bruin Style Ale aged 6 months in our Brunello foudres. Re-fermented upon fruit in Sanctuary Vineyards Tempranillo barrels for 9 months. 75% aged upon raspberries and 25% aged upon blueberries.

8. Symptom of Progeny Golden Sour Ale - 5% ABV (actual abv not confirmed yet)
Symptom of Progeny. Our first ever spontaneous sour ale. The product of our locale, this beer was made with Asheville city water, Riverbend Malt barley and wheat, house-aged hops, and the tidings of the air around us. Left to begin its ferment in the open air, beneath our taproom peach trees (across from the Sloth and Selleck mural), native yeast and bacteria were left to finish out in neutral oak barrels for one year before laid down to condition in bottles for over 6 months. A magical experience, indeed. ⁣
